Corrugated Metal Roof Sheets
Corrugated metal roof sheet is a galvanized steel sheet, which during production acquires folds of different heights - waves. Its distinctive features are the configuration of the corrugated sheet, its height, as well as the polymer coating. The scope of corrugated sheet is quite wide: roofs, facades, fences, etc.
When choosing a corrugated sheet, first of all, its thickness and configuration should be taken into account. For roofing, corrugated sheet should have a sheet thickness of 0.4-0.5 mm. Such a thickness, combined with a sufficient wave height of the sheet, will give the roof the necessary rigidity and strength. The optimal wave height is considered to be from 18 mm to 60 mm, because this indicator indicates the strength of the corrugated sheet.
Based on the type of coating, there are 3 types of corrugated sheet.
Galvanized corrugated sheet - is a steel sheet coated with a layer of zinc that prevents corrosion for 5-10 years. This is the shelf life of galvanized corrugated sheet, because zinc oxidizes over time and the sheet loses its anti-corrosion properties.
Colored polymer-coated corrugated sheet - this type of corrugated sheet is made of galvanized steel sheet, which is coated with a polymer dye using a special technology. Here, each color has a 4-digit name. The common name for the palette is called RAL. High-quality polymer paint does not fade and does not crack over time.
Printech - this type of corrugated sheet is considered a relatively new type, the secret of which is offset printing technology, during which a print is applied on a galvanized steel sheet with polymer paint in the form of a stone, tree, grass or other image. This type of coating is also quite durable and does not fade over time.
